Airport Ride

Ride time:  3 hours

Tammy, Stacy, and I rode around the airport for about 3 hours.  It was a beautiful day and we really enjoyed ourselves.

We Love Pundt Park

I took Lacy and Riffics to Pundt Park today.  What a beautiful day!!  We had a great time and can't wait to go back!!

Karen & Blue

We went for a ride with my friend Karen and her horse Blue yesterday.

7IL Sire Ride-A-Thon

When:  October 12-13, 2012
Ride time: Oct. 12 ~ 1 hour 
                Oct. 13 ~ 2 hours

We went on our first overnight camping trip to 7IL Ranch in Cat Springs.  We had a great time and Riffics was absolutely perfect.  The ranch is amazingly beautiful.  These pictures were taken in the morning as soon as we woke up, it was dewy and peaceful.  The stars in the morning were so big and bright.  I can't wait to go back!

This is my living quarters horse trailer.  Yes, it has a fan, a reading light, and a bathroom!! 
I slept great!!  I woke up every 2 hours to check on Riffics.

Pundt Park Ride

When:  August 2, 2012
Ride Time:  2 hours

Michelle, Greg, and I rode Pundt Park on Thursday and had a great time.  There were a lot of trees down due to all the rain and storms we have gotten lately.  There were a lot of trees in the creek and some of the trails were bocked due to all the trees and brush.  The bugs were not as bad as they were in June, I do miss all the butterflies though. 

Bucking Ride

When:  July 28, 2012
Ride Time: 3 hours

We all new it would happen again, it was just a matter of time.  It happens every couple of years or so.  & Yep, it did happen... Riffics bucked me off.  We were trotting, then I asked him to walk.  I wasn't really paying attention and the next thing I know, he bucked and I landed on his neck.  I gave him a hug and rolled off onto the ground.  I got up and beat him with the whip (anyone who knows me knows I would never harm any of my animals!... so when I say beat, I really mean tap...) then of course I got back on.  He was on his best behavior then and has been all week now.  I gave him an attitude adjustment and now he is back to being my perfect horse again, I have my horse back! But, now I have a bum thumb!!

We did it again!!

Riffics and I went to Pundt Park... by ourselves!!  We had a wonderful time!!  When we got back to the trailer parking area I let Riffics eat some grass.  Then it was time to go, he put his head up and headed straight for the trails.  He wanted to hit some more trails and keep going.  I am so proud of him!!

Beautiful Bayou Trail Ride

Pundt Park Paradise

Today Riffics and I meet Hubby and Pupcake at Pundt Park were we had a great time playing in the water!!

We Did It!

Ride time:  2 and 1/2 hours

Today Riffics and I went on the trail alone!  It was actually just down the rode a couple of times, but that still counts.  I rode bareback up and down the road near what we call the racetrack.  I am having saddle issues... I can't seem to find one that fits him good.  This one is a Wintec 2000 and it is leaving 2 swollen bumps along his spine.  That isn't good!  So tomorrow we are going to load up and head over to Charlottes... again.  Hopefully we will have better luck this time around.

Family Day Out

Dave and I took Riffics and Lacy to Pundt Park for a couple of hours.  It is absolutely beautiful there.  We can't wait to go back soon.  Next time we will take some photos of our adventure!

New Trailer!!

Today Riffics got his new trailer!!  We are really excited about it!!  More adventures and trail rides away from home are in our future!!

College Loop Trail Ride

Today we rode around the college loop.  It was such a beautiful day... it always is when I am with my horse!

Windy Day Trail Ride

It was soooo windy today when we rode, a storm is moving in.  We rode around the airport and happened upon this plane.  We had a wonderful windy ride!!!
